Life, the Universe, and Ourselves are the Play of Consciousness!
“This world, this Universe, is a malleable substance. Space-time is malleable. As the speed of light is approached, the more warped or dilated does the fabric of space-time become. Likewise the more mass or weight an object has (such as a star, a neutron star, or black hole), the more warped or dilated does space-time become.
This is physical phenomena. But all things are malleable, not just physical objects or states of energy, for all is the play of Consciousness. The mind is malleable, the will is malleable, knowledge is malleable, actions are malleable.
All that transpires in this world called Universe is of the nature of change, and of polar opposites. As such, malleability is the nature of all things. This malleability is the child of the initial creative impulse, Spanda. To be malleable is to be dynamic; to be dynamic is of the nature of Shakti. Shakti is the immanent, reflective nature of the immanent, primal Subject, Shiva.
This is Spanda, the immanent, creative aspect of Transcendent Paramashiva, the Absolute. So beyond human thought is Paramashiva that the best that can be said regarding It is that It is Transcendent. In a creative overflow of bliss, Paramashiva becomes the immanent Subject, Shiva tattva. The immanent Subject distances Himself from His nature and looks upon his splendor as one looking in a mirror, Shakti tattva. This Shiva-Shakti tattva is called bindu, a “compact mass of Consciousness/Bliss” by the wise. It is sole existence; It contains all that is to be.
Full of unimpeded Will, Knowledge, and Action is this universal Shiva-Shakti tattva.
These five pure tattvas are universal, eternal, beyond the world of change, the source of the world of change, the matrix of all that is to be. Shiva’s Maya-Shakti brings about the tattvas of Maya and Her five kanchukas or coverings, bringing about the world of appearances that is this dynamic Universe of malleability and polar opposites. In this state of seeming limitations:
-
–Shiva becomes the seeming dimensions of space and context
-
–Shakti becomes the seeming dynamism of time and action
-
–Universal Will becomes the seeming endless varieties of desire/motivation of all beings.
-
–Universal Knowledge becomes the seeming endless varieties of limited understanding.
-
–Universal Creative Action becomes the seeming limited movements of all the Universe.
There is a secret here, the greatest secret. God is not outside of anything, anywhere, at any time. All is equally Chid-Anand, Consciousness-Bliss. God is not merely “inside you”, no no; every particle of your being is Shiva; every movement of desire, knowledge, and action you perform is Shiva. You are not to find that God is merely at your very heart, you are to find that you are Shiva. In so doing, you find that all is Shiva.
All that the mind knows is incomplete and limited. You must let go of everything. Divine knowledge built upon a foundation of ego is destined to fall. It may be sooner or later, but the fall is inevitable.
One cannot build upon ignorance to realize God. One must deconstruct oneself to zero. It is in zero that one realizes everything, one is everything, everything is One.” -Markendeya, Song 70.
